we had to wake up like any other working day even though it’s a public holiday today in selangor. Himself and i went for dim sum breakfast at puchong and then, went to cyberview lodge resort. we’ve made an appointment with the av personnel at the hotel to test out the music instruments and also, the projector for our slide presentations.

then, in the afternoon, we went to klcc for Himself’s suit fitting. we then went back to his parents’ home for dinner.

we went to klcc this afternoon to meet with Himself’s cousin, alex. he was there before us getting his suit tailor made. so, Himself wanted to take a look and decide whether he wants to get his suit made there also or not. for the first time (as far as i could remember), the parking at klcc was closed because there were too many cars parked there. getting to klcc was madness too with the terrible traffic on the road.

being in klcc is also a problem. with the place filled with people, we can hardly feel the air-conditioning… and going to the loo is a problem too. so, after Himself decided to make his suit there, we left and went to the curve. there, we met up with joanne, ray ern, janie, renee, desi and belen.

thereafter, we went for dinner with my family at sungei way. after dinner, we went over to my grandma’s house because they told me that they have gifts to give me. and they were truly beautiful gifts of love. i know my grandma has been keeping it for years now. and the ones that both my aunts give me are equally priceless and precious because they all gave the gifts to me out of love. thank you, popo and both my aunts.

i’ll definitely be wearing them on my wedding day.

this morning, when i woke up… the first question i heard was, “mom, did you show sis the nice bag i made?” and i answered, “yes, mom showed me the bag. whether it’s nice or not is another matter.” hahaha! and my sis also informed me that she has one set of dress for our marriage registration, another set for the tea ceremony and lastly, for the garden wedding and reception. my gosh!

so, i decided that since my sis who is my sis and not the bride has that many dresses, i deserve to have one too for our own marriage registration too. Himself and i went to 1 utama and i managed to buy a dress. and now, i’m working on the invitation cards. i’ve made 60 thus far…. so many more to go!

even though today was a state holiday, i still woke up at 8am.

and at 10am, i was the tailor’s with my mom and sis. we wanted to get my sis’ bridesmaid dress made. after discussing with the tailor, we left for jalan tar at kuala lumpur to purchase the right material. however, as we approach downtown, it was very jam. we still pursued on…. but, when we reached near jalan tar, we realised that the road was blocked by police because of the traffic congestion there. we decided then to park the car at kl sentral and take the komuter down. by then, i’ve been driving for 2 hours!

my sis and mom took the komuter to jalan tar while i took the komuter to pwtc to meet Himself. after that, Himself and i went to the printer’s to confirm our invitation cards. and we also made a stamp of our monogram. but, the size might be too big though. may have to make another one. uh oh!

joanne accompanied me to collect my 7th and 8th pair of shoes today. the shoes are of almost similar designs but different colours… pink and black.
