we did our last minute shopping today before leaving for the airport around 2pm. at the airport, i found a really cute advertisement.

we arrived in kuala lumpur at 9:55 pm.
we woke up at 6am and went for dim sum breakfast at a restaurant opposite our hotel. then, we waited for the tour bas to arrive. first, they brought us to the avenue of stars. the next destination was the wong tai shin temple. then, onwards to a jewellery shop.
finally, we got to have fun at disneyland.

and we got to watch the parade and the beautiful fireworks display.
we were supposed to go to disneyland today. but, we checked with the tour counter located at our hotel lobby and they have a promotion where we pay a full price for the first person and the second person is half price. we did the math and found that the tour is cheaper plus the tour included transfer to disneyland instead of paying hkd 50 per person to ride the mtr. the tour also included other places.
so, we decided to go to macau instead. we took the mtr to tsim sha tsui station and from there, walked to china (hk) ferry terminal to take the ferry (turbojet) from hong kong to macau. the price from hong kong to macau on a weekday for day service is hkd 138 per person. upon arrival at macau around 11:30 am, we were approached by one of those tour operators. and we decided to use a driver to take us around instead of finding the way ourselves since we only have a day.
he first took us to the kun iam ecumenical centre.

from there, we went to macau tower convention & entertainment centre. the height of this tower is 338 metres.

we moved on to penha hill and to a temple before moving on to the lotus square where the large sculpture of “lotus flower in full bloom” was presented by the state council of china in 1999, marks the return of sovereignty of macau.

after that, we went for lunch at a restaurant that serves portuguese food. next on our itinerary was the museum of macau. we paid hkd 15 per person for entry fee.

lastly, before we hit the casino, we went to the ruins of st. paul.
then, our driver dropped us off at sands casino. we left macau for hong kong about 9pm.
we woke up later than usual today. however, today was for Himself to settle some of his business. after lunch at jasmine restaurant and their discussion, we went back to the hotel to change to more comfortable clothes.
then, we went to times square at causeway bay to meet up with uncle tony (Himself’s uncle). we went to crystal jade restaurant at times square for dinner and adjourned to lan kwai fong for drinks. we went back to uncle tony’s hotel because Himself had to check his e-mail. sigh….

we woke up at about 9am and went to the shop opposite our hotel for breakfast. Himself had fried noodles and i had toast and oatmeal. we took the train to tsim sha tsui and took some photos at the peninsula hong kong.

then, we took the star ferry from tsim sha tsui (kowloon) to central (hong kong island). we just had to pay hkd 2.20 for a memorable and scenic boat trip across one of the most-photographed harbours in the world. from there, we roamed around central and waited for Himself’s friend, joe to meet up for lunch. she took us to yung kee restaurant. after lunch, we walked to central again and took the citybus no. 15 to the peak. by the time we reached the peak, i was so dizzy. sigh! from the peak, hong kong island was filled with lights. we took the peak tram back down. the price was hkd 20 one way. from there, we walked to central to take the mtr back to mongkok. we had dim sum and hot & sour soup with fried noodles for dinner. after some shopping, we went back to the hotel.
