i woke up at 7 am feeling very tired. but, excited too! so, i quickly showered and changed to my “registration dress”. yes, i have one specially bought for this special day. my family and i left about 8 am and went to usj to pick my paternal grandma.

all of us (i.e. Himself and his family) arrived at the jabatan pendaftaran negara (registration ministry) at around 9 am. we immediately went to inform the person-in-charge that we have arrived. then, we had to wait for a whole hour before it’s our turn. during the wait, we took many photos….

and after an hour of waiting, the solemnization of marriage only took 10 minutes! we went to cyberview lodge resort for more photo shots and also for the food tasting.

we left about 1:30 pm… and i think everyone needed a good rest from all the waiting and walking. thank you everyone… and for the wishes via sms too.:)

this morning, when i woke up… the first question i heard was, “mom, did you show sis the nice bag i made?” and i answered, “yes, mom showed me the bag. whether it’s nice or not is another matter.” hahaha! and my sis also informed me that she has one set of dress for our marriage registration, another set for the tea ceremony and lastly, for the garden wedding and reception. my gosh!

so, i decided that since my sis who is my sis and not the bride has that many dresses, i deserve to have one too for our own marriage registration too. Himself and i went to 1 utama and i managed to buy a dress. and now, i’m working on the invitation cards. i’ve made 60 thus far…. so many more to go!

we went to covershots around 10+ in the morning to collect our album, a portrait and 2 more photos for our parents. the photos are beautiful. then, while Himself was driving on the kesas highway, he asked, “want to turn or not?”. and i asked, “where?”. he said, “to joanne’s office to busy body and show off your photos lar”. i then answered, “of course lar”. hahaha!

so, we went to joanne’s office and show off the photos for to everyone… even wanted to show ray ern but he didn’t seem interested. instead, he was more interested in helping everybody buy lotto again. hahaha! we had lunch at the restaurant opposite their office together before we left for putrajaya.

when we entered the building, we were fascinated by the beauty of the building. we proceeded to the marriage and divorce department; and just had to wait for about 15 minutes before it was our turn. we went through all the procedures within another 10 minutes. then, we went to the mykad department and Himself did his mykad… finally!

and we finally completed all our wedding stuff for the day… except for confirmation of the wordings for our invitation card. argh!
